Tuesday – No Operation to the Greens…. just VWC% checks and a hose where needed. Pin position’s moved. Car park blow and hedges continue. Fairway Bunkers strimmed. Daily tasks. Fallen trees tackled after setup

Sunday – Status Green. Course setup greens rolled followed by a hand hose to water hot spots. Tee set and a divot from yesterday’s play, Bunkers raked.

Saturday – Status Green… in places 🥵 Greens trimmed with VL. Approaches nipped with tired areas left where possible. VMW% checks & top ups. “Are they not irrigating at night” i hear you say….. of course! However, there isn’t enough time through the night to get enough out in these extreme conditions 💦 Hand hose…

Friday – Toasty! Irrigation system running flat out from 9pm till 8am…. but not enough hours in the night to water all surfaces. We are currently losing around 5/6mm of water a day through evapotranspiration and this watering window at night is not even close to big enough to put even half back onto the plant.…

Thursday – Status Green. Green’s nipped. Grass Clippings and soil samples collected to be sent away and tested for nutritional values. This has been done for over 8 years, every 6 month’s on the same 4 greens. Important and essential to keep improving and ultimately ensure nutrition isn’t over applied and resources wasted! Approaches cut.…

Wednesday – Status Green Greens getting a roll Followed behing are two guys hand watering dry areas on Greens New holes positions Daily tasks Rabbit hole bank getting more dirt and left over stone taken away, then irrigation pipe placed in for a future watering needs.
