Sunday – Status Amber. Daily setup with some mowing. Holes trimmed, Tees cut, Apps, Fairways.

Saturday – Status Amber. Hope you all have had a nice christmas. Frosty stat to the day daily setup greens dew removal and holes trimmed, Tee set plus a heavy divot, Bunkers raked, Blowing of surfaces as required. Good time for the mechanic to tackle some workshop bits.

Xmas Eve – Status Red, Carry if able. Nice breezy fresh morning…. so no operation even to remove the Dew, just fresh pin position’s to move them away from the Black Footprints. Big labour slog on the Bunkers, a Flymo to start…. Faces Sharpened up with a flick of the strimmer…. Blow & a Rake…

Tuesday – Status Red, Carry if able. Green’s getting a festive Trimm…. not for grass but mainly to collect any debris as growth has properly shut down now. As growth has slowed right up, its out with another slow release Granular to perk them up but not generate any new fleshy growth that encourages disease.…

Monday – Status “All Carry” Greens rolled to press out yesterday’s essential Spray on the Greens. Daily Setup Tasks. Course Ditches getting Brush cut. More Course Furniture being made.

Sunday – Status “All Carry”. Greens Rolled. Far from ideal conditions, but in the build up to Xmas with potential frosts it looks like we need to take even the less ideal opportunities. An overdue spray on the Greens. Some Acid, Mg, Mn, Zn, Cu, Ca, N, PGR & some Penetrant Wetter. This will leave…

Saturday – Status “All Carry” starting from the 10th Tee. Greens Dew Removal. Daily Setup Tasks. Practice Ground Ball Collection later on as normal.

Friday – Status “All Carry” with a 10th Tee Start. 25mm of stuff from the sky yesterday, not the best day for golf those who played in that 😳 Green’s Dew removal. Pin positions moved. Daily Setup Tasks. A few selected areas of flailing before the Tractor Attachments are put to bed till next year.…

Thursday – Status Red, Winter Wheels on Electric Trolleys only. Below is a pic showing how well the Winter Wheels spread wear and reduce the smearing and spinning effect. Practice Ground Closed 12-2 for Maintenance. Car Park Tidy. Daily Task’s with Course Setup. Some Granular fertiliser out infront of what looks a pretty nasty forecast…

Wednesday – Status Green, Carry if able. Green’s dew removal… while no frost. 1 Degree at present so when sun rises high chance of some white Stuff. 2 Mowers out before the frost potentially arrives and while the fog is keeping it away…… before tomorrow’s forecasted damp day too! 😬 Daily Rota of Fwys Divotted.…
