Tuesday – Status Greener….. Green’s trimmed. Pins moved but remaining same Colour. Approaches nipped. Long overdue Cultural work to the Green’s as its been far too hot in recent weeks. Slinging 3t of sand over the 20 Greens we have. This is help dilute the accumulated Thatch in the top of the profile, level out…

Monday – Greens rolled. Few more Fairway’s Sprayed infront of Irrigation, to continue making progress in recovery now the extreme heat has subsided…. for now. Tee’s recovering well 💪 Daily tasks. Pathway dusting started. A lot later than planned due to several factors. Few more bunkers getting some edging done to them.

Sunday – Status Green 🥵😬 Green’s trimmed no VL. No hose after yesterday’s Wetter application & overheads…. so the Sprayer is out early infront of the Irrigation programme, to help what little water we can get out, get to where it needs to be. Daily tasks Practice Ground Ball Collection later on.

Saturday – Status Green, in some spots anyway. No operation to the Green’s, just a day later than needed and planned Spray to the Green’s with some Mollasses Sugars, Seaweed, Block co-polymer Wetting Agent & Penetrant Wetter too! Perfect morning to fly round early doors with some overheads right behind to get the application off…

Friday – Men’s Invitational. Green’s trimmed. Fresh pin position’s. Approaches nipped. Hose on the hot spots. Tee’s trimmed. 2nd cut of Semi topped where needed. Daily tasks

Thursday – Practice Ground Closed 12-2 for Maintenance. No operation to Green’s this morning after yesterday’s Irrigation breakdown, just some hoses. Managed to get water pressure back yesterday afternoon, after a string of leaks. The system has been running flat out the last few weeks with a few hiccups, but ran without a blip last…

Wednesday – Ladies Day. Green’s trimmed. Hot spots watered on Green’s. Another night of the Pumps failing due to low pressure…. grrrr! Only part of the evening’s programme went out again. Expect to see some Sprinklers out here this morning 🥵 Green’s sprayed with some N, P, K, Mg, Zn, Cu, PGR and Penetrant. Fairway’s…

Tuesday – No Operation to the Greens…. just VWC% checks and a hose where needed. Pin position’s moved. Car park blow and hedges continue. Fairway Bunkers strimmed. Daily tasks. Fallen trees tackled after setup

Sunday – Status Green. Course setup greens rolled followed by a hand hose to water hot spots. Tee set and a divot from yesterday’s play, Bunkers raked.

Saturday – Status Green… in places 🥵 Greens trimmed with VL. Approaches nipped with tired areas left where possible. VMW% checks & top ups. “Are they not irrigating at night” i hear you say….. of course! However, there isn’t enough time through the night to get enough out in these extreme conditions 💦 Hand hose…
