I consider myself to be a strong technical coach and a good communicator who likes to look at the big picture. I am sensitive to the needs of those who take lessons and enjoy setting and achieving goals that we set together.

A highlight in my coaching career was working with Australian Tour Professional Peter Fowler. Peter, a past winner on the European Tour had in recent years suffered a dip in form. Whilst working together Peter improved from 142nd on the European order of merit to 65th in 2002 and 45th in 2003.
My teaching style:
All things start with the mind, if your brain does not tell a muscle what to do, whether it is conscious or unconscious the muscle will not respond. Therefore every lesson must start with an aspiration to move towards a goal. Due to this we need to look at both the mind and the body and how they need to work together successfully to achieve your goals. When you play you are in the middle of an inevitable cycle, how you swing affects the flight of the ball, where to ball goes affects your thinking, how you think then affects how you swing.
Ways then I can help your thinking are:
1. To improve your pre-shot playing strategies and routines
2. Confidence in your ability to produce the required shot, especially under pressure
3. How to think post shot and reflect upon your rounds.
Ways I can improve your technique are:
1. Using the V1 video coaching software to model the techniques used by the world’s best professionals. Seeing yourself side by side with the professionals makes it so much easier to visualize what you need to do to improve.
2. Using teaching aids that will give you the feeling for what you have just seen on the V1 system. Lessons then become a matter of seeing and feeling rather than complicated analysis.
3. Teaching you how to think when you practice, so that you are able to make a change in your technique until the time when you have gained the competence and the confidence to apply that change to competitive play.
To do both of the above successfully I like to work on the golf course and the driving range. The course because that is where the day the game is played and the range because it gives us the space to work on parts of your game in a substantially easier environment.
Working with Lee has not only improved my technique…..he has also helped me to re discover how to enjoy the game, every game… Lee is an excellent golf coach.
Each lesson is very thorough and specific to the programme and is followed up with a video summary and follow-up practice routines…It’s been hard, albeit enjoyable work but since starting with Lee, my handicap has started coming back down again and I know that will come down further this year.
Lee is a superb teacher and communicator, he has a great understanding of the golf swing…. Any golfer who is serious about improving their swing and overall golf game will benefit immensely from lessons with Lee.
I have coached at Windlesham for over thirteen years now and hope that I have developed into a easily approachable, confident and knowledgable instructor. I ensure that my pupils enjoy their sessions and leave with a clear idea of what they need to do to get better.
My high level of enthusiasm for the game and desire to help people improve has helped me to teach a broad range of students from complete beginner to aspiring tournament professionals and amateurs in the UK and in Asia.
I feel one of my strength’s is my ability is to diagnose a golfer’s problems early and help them to clearly understand, demonstrate and apply their improvements.
During my career I have taught golfers to reach Ladies, Junior, Colt, County ‘a’ and County First team honours. Most of these were starting from complete beginner level Some of my young students have gone on to win numerous Surrey Rookie Tour Events and Major Surrey Men’s Order of Merit Events.
One of my proudest achievements to date was to help create and set up the Windlesham Junior Academy, which is now one of the best Junior Golf Programmes in the country. This also included the introduction of Junior Scholarships which hands a great opportunity to local young golfers who have high aspirations to improve.
Whatever the level of golfer or whatever their problem is, I feel confident that I could help that golfer understand and improve and maybe more importantly, enjoy the whole process!
Richard is an approachable, friendly and enthusiastic coach who has given lessons to both my sons and me over the last couple of years.
Thanks to Richard I have very quickly developed the confidence to join a club at the beginning of last year and within six months had a handicap of 20. I wholeheartedly recommend Windlesham Golf Academy to anyone wishing to take up this fascinating sport.
I came to Windlesham Golf Academy as a complete novice. Under the tuition of Richard Bishton, I now enjoy playing golf more than I ever expected.
Players of all abilities from beginners, improvers and club players to very good amateurs and professionals. I love helping people improve whatever their level.

I have been a full time teaching professional for about ten years. I am a keen student of the game and have always looked to utilise technology and further my knowledge of the golf swing and golf coaching in general. In October 2013, I purchased a TrackMan IIIe radar system. This system provides incredibly accurate information about how the club is moving through impact and tracks the resulting ball flight to within a yard. I have found this technology extremely helpful in quickly identifying the most important aspects to work on with a player.
Understanding what needs to be fixed/worked on is just the start point, it is then a case of working out the simplest means to fix it. In April 2016 I became a Dr. Kwon Biomechanics Instructor. Dr. Kwon is one of the leading thinkers in biomechanics and whose research is on the cutting edge of what we understand about the golf swing today. Looking at the study of motion (kinematics), and the study of forces and torques that create that motion (kinetics) has furthered my understanding of what makes a golf swing tick and how small, well though-out adjustments can create big improvements in ball flight and/or consistency.
For the past 6 years I have held a coaching role within the Surrey Golf Partnership developing some of the best young players in the County. I am currently Lead Coach to the Surrey Girls Under 15’s Squad.
In 2012 I put together the Young Golfers Programme at the Windlesham Academy. A programme focusing on developing younger golfers to a point where they’re ready to start playing on a course and potentially join as junior members. I’m also delighted to have helped our great coaching team in developing the Junior Academy which goes from strength to strength and is now one of the best in the Country.
If you would like more information about my coaching and the technology i use to help players improve, please contact me via email at email@example.com or visit my website www.benrossgolftuition.co.uk alternatively please feel free to book a lesson and we can get started!
I have worked with Ben since I first started playing golf. Ben has helped me get onto the England AASE Programme, as well as get my golf to a good enough level to be picked to play for the Surrey A Team.
Thanks to Ben I now find myself hooked on the sport and am finding a degree of consistency in my game that I would never have thought possible a few months ago.
After years of playing self-taught golf (very badly!) I am delighted to be seeing light at the end of the tunnel thanks to your great tuition! Can’t THANK YOU enough for all the encouragement and support over the last few months, it’s been such a positive experience and I have thoroughly enjoyed the coaching sessions.
Jeremy Bennett is an ‘Advanced Fellow’ of the PGA, a status that ranks him inside the top 1% of over 6,000 golf coaches in GB&I. This status was awarded purely through Jeremy’s consistent coaching prowess and results.
Whilst he has a reputation of being the ‘Pro’s Pro’ as has worked with numerous European Tour players, general Tour players and teaches other coaches how to coach their pupils, Jeremy also has just as a strong reputation with amateurs of literally every level and age.
Jeremy does not teach a method, preferring to coach each player individually depending on their ability, body shape, aspirations and time restraints. His philosophy is to keep things simple, easy to apply and get results. He has a strong background in psychology having worked with the best psychologists on the planet, and subtly passes this on to his pupils as you cannot play great golf without being confident.
Jeremy has been a past National Coach to England and Wales and worked with literally the world’s best golfers including major winners Sir Nick Faldo, Rory McIlroy, Seve Ballesteros, Sandy Lyle and Bernhard Langer. One of his players, Oliver Fisher, became the first European Tour player to score 59 whilst coaching him at the Portuguese Masters September 2018.
Unusually in sport most golf coaches have not held the sword themselves in battle, however Jeremy competed himself at the very highest level for 12 years on the European Tour and was ‘Rookie of the Year’ in 1981.
Visit Jeremy’s website for details for more information and player’s testimonials. Also get to know him a little better and find out what he can do for you at jeremybennettgolf.co.uk. You are always welcome to contact him on 07963 453292 or firstname.lastname@example.org to talk about your game.
