Thanks to everyone who joined me at the Ladies Christmas Dinner on Thursday evening.  It was lovely to see so many of you and to celebrate many of our achievements this year.

Huge congratulations to Kathryn Naylor who won the annual Order of Merit and the Don Ginger Bowl, which is awarded to the lady who has dropped their handicap the most from 36 over the course of the year.

I think it is a first for a lady to win both of these in the same year.  A full list of winners can be found on the noticeboard in the locker room and on our website, along with photographs from the evening.

It is definitely the season of Good Will. Mick & Vic thank you from the bottom of their hearts for your continuing generosity to our charity.

Hilary Ashby once again provided a superbly decorated Christmas Cake, with tickets being sold in the clubhouse and at the Ladies Christmas Dinner on Thursday.

This, together with the Ladies Christmas raffle raised £758 for CWSNF.

Gordon Ebbon was the winner of the cake, which Jean Ebbon donated (on Gordon’s behalf) to CWSNF together with over 70 small Christmas gifts that will be given to special needs children.

Thank you to everyone for your very generous support.
