Ryan Morrison, Sarah Wilmore and Christian Mucklow did us proud at the English Junior Champion Club Tournament this past weekend.
After day one they were just 2 points behind the leaders and all ready to go out on the Sunday and win the title. They set off confidently and despite difficult conditions and they were level par (Nett) for day 2 after 5-holes. Unfortunately the weather did not let up and with flooded fairways and a forecast for more rain, the days play was abandoned.
This meant that the first days play became the final result with Cosby winning on 72pts and Windlesham finally coming 6th out of 33 teams.
What really impressed me was how hard they fought and stuck to the task regardless of any setbacks they suffered whilst out on the course. All in all it was a great experience for us all; the team was well supported by family, Club Captain Graham and Ladies Captain Pat, who drove up and back again in a day to watch Saturdays play.
One last point to mention was that much of this teams success is down to all the work and encouragement of the Junior Organiser Paul Carter.[Click Here] to view the full results
